News continued...... Kudos to those of you
who have a fear of heights and went on to complete
the session.
The CERT program is scheduled to begin February
2, 2007. Graduation should be March 24, 2007.
A meeting to confirm the dates is set up for January
8, 2007. If there is any change, I will post it
here.
I am changing the format of
the web site just a bit. I have included a new
page for photos of the current class and a
shift calendar. In the next few days, I hope
to also include a page of photos from current
events.
Happy Holidays!

Alumni News' continued.....
This next year looks to be full
of activity and new challenges. We will start
participating in the CERT Program (Community
Emergency Response Team) along with other citizens
of the Best of the Southwest cities.
Being involved with the
Citizen’s Fire Academy is a life changing experience
and joining the Alumni Association allows you to
continue the fellowship. I want to encourage
everyone who has been through the Academy to join
the Alumni Association because our organization can
do more and accomplish more as the membership
increases.
I want to thank all the paid
members of 2006 and all the officers for 2006 for
their support and help. This has been a challenging
and fulfilling year for me as your president.
Our new officers for 2007 will
take us to a new level of commitment and we expect
2007 to be another great year for DCFAAA.
Sincerely,
Bill Crumpton
Until next month........h
